Dividing food

Today I was learning about a balanced diet and healthy eating. You should have about 35% grains to fill you up with energy, 35 percent vegetables to give you vitamins, 10% dairy to keep your calcium levels high, 10% protein for carbohydrates and 10% fruit to give you vitamins.

This is my healthy food plate

Toy Trouble

Today I was making  a toy! Fun right? Well actually, it is make out of blocks. I was also learning to look at volume in a toy. I firstly made a package with accurate measurements. I looked at length by width by height and figured out how big it’s package needed to be. How much money it costs you ask? Well, it was a total of 13.50. I thought it was a little hard adding the money up because all the different colours were worth different amounts, and my toy had a lot of colours. Lastly, I was able to fit my toy into my package and it was all over. Phew!

Country Collide

Today I will tell you about Pangea. Pangea was a big land that shifted away because of the tectonic plates. Tectonic plates are giant plates that are made of alaminium and silicon. The plates shift along with the continents shifted away by 15.24 centimetres each year. This is how Pangea looked at first.

Teamwork = Victory

Today I had a cardboard car regatta. A cardboard car regatta is a race held annually in our school and you have to decorate a box. Later you race in it. I had learnt a lot about teamwork and my team shared ideas and compromised well. I loved the cardboard car regatta and want to show you my car and how my team co-operated.
